4 Types of Baby Bibs Every Infant Needs
Babies can never have enough bibs! But with so many options on the market, choosing which one of the many types of baby bibs to use can be difficult. Surely, when it comes to baby bibs, one shape suits all? Actually no. When it comes to the type of bib, there are four main shapes to pick from. Each have been designed for a specific use or need.
Choosing Between 4 Main Types of Baby Bibs
At Tijay Crafts, we make and sell four different types of baby bibs. They are:
We handmake our baby bibs with a 100% cotton front, an internal hidden layer of flannelette and a cosy polar fleece, micro fleece or Towelling back. These three layers help ensure that no spills or drools seep through to their clothing. Each bib is also adjustable, having three neck domes to chose when fastening it for your baby. This helps them to last longer, fitting from newborn up to approx 2 year old. Easy to wash and dry, they are available in a large range of fabric patterns and colours for both boys and girls.
When it comes to choosing the right type of bib for your baby, it’s easier if you understand the purpose each different shaped bib has.
Bandana Dribble Bibs – shaped like a traditional triangular bandana, these bibs are incredibly popular choices with new Mums. Modern looking, they are perfect baby accessories for when you are out and about, helping to keep the baby’s clothes clean and dry.
Feeding Bibs – these are made in the traditional bib shape and cover the largest area on a baby’s chest. Perfect for spilly babies or messy eaters!
Shaped Bibs – a modern twist on the bandana bib, a bandana shaped bib that sits flat and doesnt bunch under babies chin like traditional bandana bibs, great for catching that dribble and stylish as well.
Dummy Bibs – designed to hold a dummy or pacifier securely, these bibs are ideal for babies who are always dropping or loosing their dummy.
Bibs are always a much appreciated baby gift too. We recommend you order a minimum of five different bibs, as this gives the new Mum plenty of spares!
